The combination of a broad and high-quality offering, along with our market-leading position in our areas of expertise, gives us a strong foothold in the industry. We carefully select the best software, ensure seamless integration into our customers' businesses, and take responsibility beyond implementation—allowing our customers to focus on what they do best: their business and their clients. Our ambition is to build long-term relationships with our customers, ideally lasting forever, by using digital tools to solve the operational challenges they face in their daily work.

The software solutions we select are partly industry-specific but primarily industry-agnostic, which allows us to serve a wide range of industries—from wholesalers to IT consultants and software companies.

Our land-and-expand model is based on not trying to solve everything at once. Instead, we start by helping new customers address an initial business challenge, building trust and demonstrating our ability to support them on a long-term digitalization journey. This approach ensures long-lasting customer relationships and enables us to grow within our existing customer base over time, expanding beyond their first software investment.

We also leverage acquisitions to accelerate our customer base growth. Acquisitions allow us to strengthen our market position, achieve economies of scale, and provide the acquired customer base with solutions to additional business challenges through our broad portfolio.

Over the past decade, we have completed more than 15 acquisitions of varying sizes. In combination with our land-and-expand strategy, this has contributed to an average annual growth rate of 34% since 2012.

Since 2013, we have run one of Sweden’s largest and most sought-after trainee programs. It has become a cornerstone of our growth journey, and without our ambitious trainees, Exsitec would not be the organization it is today. Our ability to onboard students from various universities and develop them into professionals who deliver customer value after completing the program is something we take great pride in. This has also made Exsitec less constrained by the IT talent shortage compared to other companies in our industry.

Approximately 40% of all employees have participated in our trainee program, and the majority of our leaders have undergone our internal leadership training. In 2023, we welcomed around 80 trainees across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

Over the past five years, our average EBITA margin has been 17%. Our financial goal is to reach an EBITA margin of 20% by the end of 2025.

This improvement will be driven by increased efficiency within our consulting organization, a higher share of packaged solutions, and a growing proportion of recurring revenue from software.

In 2024, we served approximately 5,000 customers, with no single customer accounting for more than 1.5% of our revenue. Our revenue model is built on three key pillars: software sales, consulting services, and ongoing support.

Our software revenue comes from reselling around 20 SaaS-based software solutions, which require minimal in-house development costs while ensuring high customer loyalty. This is achieved through pre-built integrations between the solutions and our single point-of-contact support, providing a seamless experience for our customers.

Over the years, we have demonstrated an ability to expand our offering, gradually reducing dependence on individual suppliers. As a result, the majority of our revenue is recurring, and we maintain a low dependency on both individual customers and vendors, ensuring financial stability and resilience.
